Kaimon

Kaimon is a trilingual VTuber with a rich backstory and a global fan base spanning Chinese, Japanese, and English-speaking audiences. Captivated by her lore and narrative potential, we took on the challenge of building her presence from the ground up. We created a custom-designed character model, along with multiple facial expressions and dynamic gestures. To ensure seamless live-streaming performance, we developed a real-time rigging system with accurate lip-sync for three languages. Motion capture was calibrated to allow fluid transitions, natural movement, and minimal latency. Particular attention was paid to phoneme accuracy across language sets—each motion and mouth shape was fine-tuned per language for believability and immersion. This project sits at the intersection of storytelling, performance design, and technical execution—a full-spectrum VTuber launch made with precision and care.
