A playful brand and packaging concept for a café-bakery where visual design is as important as flavor.
Dachshund is a Japanese café-bakery brand that celebrates the charm of daily rituals through a graphic-forward identity system.It is a pet-friendly neighborhood bakery and pop culture zine. We developed a series including packaging, merchandise, and web interface that blend clean typography with lighthearted illustration. The naming pays homage to the friendly long-bodied dog, echoed in the elongated loaf packaging and playful motion in iconography. The brand’s visual system balances nostalgia and boldness, positioning it as a space that values not only good coffee and bread, but also the culture of pause, print, and personality.
