BTG

An immersive web experience designed for an Asian immigrant community platform sharing personal stories of identity, struggle, and resilience.

Bridge the Gap (BTG) is a California-based creative community that invites Asian children of immigrant backgrounds—particularly those who have experienced racial discrimination—to share their personal journeys. BTG’s mission is to ensure these voices are heard, archived, and celebrated. We were honored to take part in a project with such social relevance and emotional weight. Our design strategy centered around immersive storytelling. We crafted a narrative-first website using interactive animation and minimal interface distractions, allowing users to engage deeply with each personal story. The UI/UX direction emphasizes emotional pacing and visual clarity, ensuring that storytelling remains the heart of the experience. Through motion and subtle transitions, the site mirrors the layered and often complex experiences of its contributors.
